Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolFermin H is a Senior Software Engineer and engineering leader based in Alicante, Spain, with 11 years of experience building scalable, high-throughput platforms. He combines hands-on development with servant leadership—routinely coding as an IC while managing teams that deliver systems at 10k+ req/s and lead migrations from MongoDB/Firestore to Bigtable for cost and performance gains. His background spans startups, agencies, and large product organizations (Adevinta, Eventbrite, Seedtag), with deep focus on observability, CI/CD, and developer experience. He has built cross-platform capabilities, centralized reporting and DevEx tooling, and led geographically distributed teams to improve velocity and reliability. Pragmatic and data-driven, he measures impact with metrics like DORA and product/system observability rather than vanity outputs. Outside of tech specifics he brings an entrepreneurial mindset from co-founding an agency and a taste for tackling the next “Annapurna” in his professional journey.
