Senior🎓
Top SchoolFernando Ortiz is a Lead Software Engineer with nearly a decade of hands-on experience building and architecting mobile and full-stack applications, primarily in Swift and JavaScript/TypeScript. He transitioned from academic research in augmented reality into professional iOS development and has since led teams and shipped products in startups and distributed IoT firms. Fernando blends technical leadership—defining architectures, conducting code reviews, and implementing CI/CD—with people development, having recruited, taught and mentored engineers across multiple companies. Comfortable across SwiftUI, UIKit, React/React Native and Node.js, he routinely balances high-impact coding of critical features with broader delivery and process responsibilities. Based in Vicente López, Argentina, he brings a pragmatic, patterns-first approach to solving product and team challenges, and often pairs mentoring with hands-on implementation.
