Top SchoolFernando Ribeiro is a FullStack Geospatial Developer and founder of Geocrafter with over 15 years delivering open source GIS solutions that bridge forestry, data science, and spatial engineering. He has hands-on experience across the full geospatial stack—from sensor and raster ingestion, OGC services and APIs to DevOps/MLOps pipelines—gained at startups like CollectiveCrunch and through long-running consultancy work. Comfortable shipping production systems with Python, Docker, Ansible and spatial standards, he pairs technical depth with practical product impact, especially in forest management use cases. Based in Portugal, he combines academic training in GIS with field-oriented knowledge in forestry and environmental monitoring, and outside work he’s a DIY crafter and father who brings a maker’s curiosity to technical problem solving.
