Summary
👤
SeniorFernando Silva is a Senior Software Engineer based in Montreal with ~10 years in tech and a strong track record building scalable web platforms using React, Next.js, TypeScript, TRPC and AWS. He has led architecture and refactor efforts that scaled booking and logistics SaaS across multiple provinces, designed multi-tenant SaaS systems, and cut cloud costs by ~30% through optimized CI/CD and deployments. Comfortable across frontend, backend and infra, he combines Micro Frontend patterns, observability (APM/ELK), and serverless/containers to improve performance and developer velocity. He also built an AI-powered agent integrating OpenAI, Bedrock, Mistral and Claude for service estimation—showing a pragmatic blend of ML/AI with production systems. A longtime community contributor who once hosted Open Source Friday for a 16K+ network, he brings both hands-on delivery and a taste for developer evangelism.
