Top SchoolFilipe Lenfers is a Lead Data Engineer with 13 years of experience building data-intensive, cloud-native systems and leading cross-functional teams from design to production. He has deep expertise in fraud prevention, payments and eCommerce, and a strong hands-on background across AWS, big data platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, Spark, Hive) and a wide range of databases and languages. Known for combining architecture, infrastructure-as-code and cost-optimization skills, he routinely turns proofs-of-concept into resilient, high-availability pipelines and services. He’s led fraud and analytics initiatives at payments firms and consulted as a Big Data architect for enterprise clients, giving him both product-minded and client-facing experience. Based in Vancouver, he brings a practical blend of ML/statistical modelling, DevOps and team development—often bridging gaps between data science and scalable engineering in production.
