Top SchoolFlorian Faisant is an Android-focused mobile engineer with 11 years of experience building and modernizing production apps, most recently as a senior Android developer at Pumpkin and a mentor at OpenClassrooms. He combines deep technical skills—refactoring legacy codebases, CI/CD, advanced caching, and Kotlin/Gradle tooling—with a pragmatic full-stack perspective that spans backend middleware and user/marketing considerations. Fluent with architectures and libraries like MVVM/Clean, Rx, Dagger/Hilt, Retrofit, Room and many SDK integrations, he has also implemented mobile-oriented middleware and integration pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab-CI, SonarQube). As a mentor he pairs hands-on development with pedagogy, helping students reach certified employment outcomes while sharpening his own skills. Based in Lille, he’s been an “Android addict” since the platform’s early days and often prefers understanding the product ecosystem as much as the code. A less obvious strength: he repeatedly tackles end-to-end problems—from image-processing servers to shared multi-app codebases—so he thrives on projects that bridge device, server and user experience.
