Summary
👤
SeniorFlorian Mailliet is a Senior Frontend Engineer with 12 years of experience building high-traffic web and video playback applications, currently based in Vancouver as a Canadian permanent resident. He spent a decade at Dailymotion crafting both Flash and HTML5 video players and now brings that media-focused front-end expertise to Dayforce, specializing in performance, architecture revamps, and reducing technical debt. Comfortable working closely with designers and product teams, he combines strong UI/UX instincts with a data-driven approach to solve complex problems and ship measurable improvements. Trained at Université Paris-Sorbonne with continued management education at NUMA, he blends technical depth with team leadership and hybrid-team management skills. Outside of work he’s a nature lover and climber, a detail that reflects a patient, methodical problem-solving style honed on and off the wall.
