Senior🎓
Top SchoolFlorian Nagel is a results-driven software development manager with 11 years of experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms, currently leading AWS CX Console teams and shaping next-generation GenAI developer tooling. He combines hands-on full-stack engineering (Node.js/TypeScript, Go, Java/Kotlin) with platform-level design—shipping client-side telemetry, geo-global multi-primary replication, and web testing frameworks that improved visibility and reliability for the AWS Console. Florian has a strong track record from high-growth startups to Amazon, having led feature release acceleration, experimentation platforms, and production-grade CI/CD and Kubernetes infrastructures. He pairs people leadership with technical depth—mentoring engineers, running experiments, and presenting internally and externally—while quietly contributing open tooling like WebdriverIO support for AWS Device Farm. Based in Berlin, he brings a practical economics background and a knack for turning observability and deployment complexity into measurable operational improvements.
