Summary
👤
SeniorFlorian Schmitt is a data scientist with nine years of experience turning business questions into validated, data-driven decisions across startups and corporate settings. He blends strong analytical curiosity with practical engineering skills—KPI development, automation, package coding and unit testing—to move projects from analysis to reliable production. His background spans SaaS business intelligence, supply chain optimization, and hands-on rollout and data management for global clients, giving him a keen sense for business context. Florian thrives on finding non-obvious correlations in large datasets and is comfortable tackling demanding coding challenges to do so. He combines academic training in data & information science with business studies, and still engages in family-business management, which sharpens his operational and stakeholder-facing instincts. Colleagues rely on him to make subjective assessments provable or refutable through rigorous, pragmatic analysis.
