Summary
🤩
RockstarFrancesco Virga is a founding engineer and entrepreneur with nine years of experience building backend systems, scalable cloud architectures, and AI-infused products. He co-founded Bounce (CTO), scaling it to 100k+ users and millions in transactions while architecting TypeScript-based backends, Kubernetes deployments, and multi-cloud DevOps. More recently he led engineering for AI-driven financial products and now focuses on LLM infrastructure and inference at inference.net and Context Labs. Trained in Engineering Physics and Computing at Queen’s University, he blends rigorous computational thinking with product instincts from early-stage startups and fundraising. Notably, he has deep hands-on experience hiring and mentoring teams, running workshops on containerization, and even provisioning supercomputer VMs as an intern—evidence of both technical depth and operational trust.
