Summary
👤
SeniorFrancisco Moctezuma is a Principal Cloud Architect with 11 years of hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms across OpenStack, Kubernetes, and major public clouds. Based in San Antonio, he combines deep systems and storage roots with senior-level Kubernetes expertise (CKA) and OpenStack certification, recently moving from Red Hat to Oracle to shape cloud strategy and delivery. His background spans operator-heavy roles at Rackspace—where he built Kubernetes-as-a-Service and automated complex integrations like TensorFlow on PPC64LE—and senior infrastructure work at T-Systems and HP. Comfortable in both customer-facing architecture calls and low-level ops, he excels at turning legacy datacenter constraints into repeatable, automated cloud patterns. Always learning and pragmatic, he prefers open source toolchains and often bridges gaps between platform teams and production support. Colleagues know him for clear operational judgment and a pragmatic blend of engineering rigor with a sense of humor reflected in his “Cloud stuff & Broken English” GitHub bio.
