Top SchoolFut Lutalo is a multidisciplinary software engineer, founder and research-minded technologist with 13 years of experience building products, consultancies and research prototypes across Africa. As founder and Chief Hacker at Nuchwezi he leads original R&D in web, mobile, embedded and data systems while also shipping client-facing solutions in edutech, fintech and analytics. He combines hands-on engineering (including contributions to open-source CLI tooling) with academic rigor—completing an MSc and pursuing doctoral work at Oxford-level institutions—bridging practical systems work and foundational research. Equally comfortable teaching, writing and creating art and music, he pursues ambitious long-term goals around AGI and human-centered computing. A pragmatic tinkerer and polymath, he often invents domain-specific languages and experimental platforms (e.g., Cwa Script and TEA) to extend what’s possible in constrained environments.
