Senior🎓
Top SchoolGabriel Do Amaral is a Senior Backend Developer with nearly five years of experience building scalable, cloud-native systems and a degree in Control and Automation Engineering. He has led migrations to AWS using Java 21, Spring, Kafka and Iceberg, and has deep hands-on experience with serverless architectures, Apigee proxies, and both SQL and NoSQL data stores. Comfortable across languages (Node.js/TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, Python, C/C++), he combines microservices, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) and CI/CD to deliver production-ready platforms for finance and retail clients. Gabriel also brings a maker’s mindset from electronics and microcontroller work, reflected in personal projects on GitHub, which complement his backend focus with systems-level insight. Known for pragmatic modernization efforts and strong ownership, he pairs engineering best practices (SOLID, testing, observability) with cloud-first design to improve performance and operability.
