Top SchoolGabriel Lacroix is a Senior Software Engineer based in Québec with six years of hands-on experience building backend systems and developer tooling, currently at Shopify. He is passionate about programming language design and systems-level software, with a particular enthusiasm for Rust and environmentally conscious tech. His trajectory from internships to senior roles at Shopify reflects rapid growth in large-scale event streaming and customer behaviour platforms. Earlier work at GHGSAT combined infrastructure, APIs, and automation—reducing manual deployment overhead while delivering user-facing permission and data access features.
