Top SchoolGabriel Maistre is a Senior Software Engineer based in Munich with 11 years of experience building cloud-native systems and data-driven products. At SIXT he has led end-to-end projects, modernizing legacy Java and Go services into scalable Spring Boot microservices and architecting replacements that reduced cost and technical debt. His background as a data scientist informs pragmatic solutions for geo-spatial problems, optimization (ILP), and large-scale data pipelines, bridging analytics and production engineering. Gabe mentors engineers, drives cross-functional alignment, and consistently focuses on reliability for high-traffic services. An unconventional strength is his hands-on mix of spatial analytics (H3, OSMnx) and backend engineering, enabling measurable business improvements from data to deployment.
