Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolGabriel S is a Site Reliability Engineer with 7 years of software engineering experience and 5+ years focused on SRE and DevOps practices, currently based in São Paulo. He has driven cloud-native transformations at HiBob, unifying Ruby and Java workloads into a single Kubernetes platform and building event-driven integrations with AWS SNS/SQS to enable seamless cross-service communication. Gabriel has hands-on experience improving production observability with Datadog, designing auth systems with AWS KMS, and reducing critical feature latency through advanced PostgreSQL optimization. He has led backend development as a sole engineer for SaaS products, pairing product-facing responsibility with operational ownership of AWS and Kubernetes environments. A postgraduate in Cloud Computing, Gabriel blends pragmatic engineering with developer advocacy—teaching best practices and spreading tooling that prevents incidents before they happen. Earlier roles in manufacturing and full‑stack development give him an uncommon operational empathy and a knack for translating business constraints into resilient technical solutions.
