Top SchoolGarrett Scholtes is a Senior Software Engineer in Seattle with 11 years of experience building cloud-native, observability, and automation systems at Relativity. He currently develops Relativity aiR, focusing on batch AI workflows and efficient use of constrained Azure OpenAI capacity, and previously improved site reliability and monitoring using OpenTelemetry, New Relic, Splunk, and Azure services. Garrett has deep operational experience running monitoring-as-a-service, VM orchestration, and logging infrastructure that supports both security posture and rapid incident resolution. Comfortable across dev, ops, and tooling, he connects developer productivity with production reliability and has a track record of turning analytics and automation into measurable business improvements. Outside engineering he’s a creator and traveler, and — less obvious — recently started exploring traditional Irish music, learning flute, tin whistle and beginning uilleann piping.
