Top SchoolGaston Gonzalez is a Senior Architect and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience designing enterprise content and search platforms, specializing in Adobe Experience Manager, Peregrine CMS, Apache Sling and Solr/Lucene. He co-founded and serves as CTO of Weedguide, applying machine learning and bespoke crawling to build a vertical search engine for the cannabis industry, and simultaneously leads architecture work at headwire.com on complex AEM migrations and Kubernetes-based deployments. His background in UNIX systems administration and deep tooling skills—from Chef, Docker and Proxmox to Helm and GKE—give him a pragmatic systems-first approach to delivering scalable, automated content and search infrastructures. Gaston is fluent across Java, big data stacks (Hadoop, Spark, HBase), and modern web frameworks (React/Redux), and has a track record of integrating AEM with analytics, commerce, and third-party platforms. He publishes technical content and experiments with preparedness themes on his blog and a YouTube channel, reflecting a blend of technical leadership and public-facing communication. Based in San Clemente, he pairs enterprise-grade engineering with hands-on tinkering—from amateur radio to RV exploration—bringing curiosity and operational discipline to every project.
