Top SchoolGeorge Christou is a senior software engineer with 12 years of experience building SOA/SaaS systems, payments platforms, and distributed computing solutions across startups and fintech companies. He has led engineering teams and critical integrations at firms like Tide, iSignthis, and maritime SaaS startup 90POE, and now contributes to cloud-native infrastructure at Cast AI. Deeply versed in structural and object-oriented design, he pairs pragmatic engineering with applied security expertise—regularly performing penetration testing and system security analysis in PCI-DSS contexts. A UNIX enthusiast and open-source supporter with an MS in Distributed Systems, he focuses on scalable, secure architectures for Big Data and distributed workloads. Notably, his background spans both hands-on platform development (Java, Spring, Node.js, databases, AWS) and leadership roles that bridge product, security, and operational concerns.
