Top SchoolGeorge Sereda is a backend engineer and team leader with seven years of commercial experience and a proven track record of shipping high-throughput, reliable systems that prioritize measurable business outcomes. He designs end-to-end solutions—requirements, architecture, CI/CD, and observability—and has operated across Golang, Python, Java and PHP to migrate monoliths into fault-tolerant microservices at scale (30k+ RPS). George drives impact beyond code: he cuts churn, slashes test runtimes, and shortens support SLAs by building analytics-driven pipelines and internal tooling. He’s delivered products from MVP to market, improved geolocation accuracy with a novel Bluetooth-based method, and hardened distributed systems to raise availability into the high nines. Comfortable wearing multiple hats, he mentors teams, runs releases, and speaks at Elastic and Golang meetups in the Netherlands. Based in Amsterdam, he brings a data-driven mindset that ties technical SLOs to real product metrics.
