Top SchoolGergo Bakos is a Senior Java Developer with 14 years of experience specializing in JVM ecosystems, distributed data platforms and cloud-native architectures. He blends deep Java/Scala/Kotlin expertise (Spring Boot, Akka, Play) with hands-on big data and messaging experience across Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra and MongoDB, and is comfortable deploying systems on AWS (EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS). His career spans fintech, telecom and marketing platforms, often leading teams to productionize machine learning and real-time data pipelines. Based in Milton Keynes, he pairs pragmatic engineering with breadth—comfortable moving between low-latency network stacks (Netty, Jetty, Tomcat) and large-scale batch/stream processing—and is finishing an MSc in Computer Science to formalize his data engineering foundations.
