Summary
🎓
Top SchoolGloria Jerez is a Senior Java Software Engineer based in Mexico City with a decade-long trajectory designing and implementing robust backend systems using Java, Spring Boot and Python. She specializes in API-first, hexagonal architectures guided by DDD, and brings hands-on experience deploying serverless and managed services on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS). Across product and consulting roles she has led backend development of microservices, documented APIs with OpenAPI, and enforced quality through JUnit and Mockito—skills reinforced by teaching and project leadership at Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas. Gloria’s background in building replication and logistics systems, combined with project management and CMMI experience, gives her a pragmatic edge for delivering complex, auditable solutions. She balances deep technical craft with mentorship and process discipline, often acting as the primary backend owner on critical projects.
