Senior🎓
Top SchoolGordon Hackett is a Senior Solutions Architect with 15+ years of hands-on software and systems engineering, currently based in Macon, Georgia, who helps organizations implement Agile practices, SDLC rigor, and scalable architectures. He combines deep full-stack development (PHP, Node.js, Python, MySQL/MongoDB) with DevOps and infrastructure design to deliver production systems that handle millions of IoT and GPS data points in real time. Gordon has led projects across transportation, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors—building everything from a semantic MediaWiki knowledge base and e-sign PDF pipeline to a high-throughput manufacturing data acquisition system and transit GTFS tools used by Bay Area agencies. He’s equally comfortable mentoring teams, creating recruiting technical challenges, and writing custom WordPress plugins and automation that produced tangible cost savings. Notably, his work has paired legacy protocols and embedded device control with modern web stacks and cloud autoscaling to solve challenging real-world telemetry and printing workflows.
