Top SchoolGordon Speirs is an experienced software leader and CEO with 11 years in engineering and executive roles, currently running an IR35 contracting firm in East Kilbride. He has led teams through ground-up designs of security-focused systems, notably architecting a post-quantum distributed authentication protocol (OISP) and performance-tuned cryptographic implementations across C++, .NET, and ARM64 hardware. His background spans high-performance C++ data-acquisition, cloud automation, and financial systems migration to modern .NET Core architectures, alongside hands-on work in device drivers and CI/CD from scratch. Gordon combines technical depth with process rigor—instigating ISO 9001-compliant change control, secure code practices, and peer review culture—while mentoring engineers across disciplines. Notably, he has delivered both low-latency game-server research and production-grade cryptography, demonstrating rare breadth from FPGA drivers to post-quantum crypto design.
