Summary
👤
SeniorGovind Singh is a seasoned platform software leader with 20+ years of deep embedded, IoT, autonomous and wireless systems experience, now leading platform software at Technology Innovation Institute in Dubai. He blends hands-on Linux kernel and BSP bring-up expertise with large-team leadership, having driven connectivity stacks and upstream kernel work at Qualcomm and led secure platform design for UTM and edge devices. His strengths span secure boot and trusted execution, multimedia and AI subsystem integration on SoCs like i.MX8MP and PolarFire, and pragmatic cross-layer debugging from silicon to application. Known for upstream contributions to Linux wireless subsystems and practical firmware/driver upstreaming, he pairs research-led security practices with production-grade delivery. A less obvious trait: he frequently bridges academic research and industry shipping, turning cutting-edge security research into hardened, deployable edge platforms.
