Summary
👤
SeniorGrace Bushong is a JD-trained environmental public interest lawyer in Boulder who leverages a prior career as a software developer to tackle complex natural resources and administrative law matters. After earning a BS in Computer Science from Notre Dame and four years building geoprocessing tools at Esri, she translated technical rigor into legal practice—drafting NEPA motions, ESA notices, and appellate briefs that navigated massive administrative records. She has hands-on experience litigating and briefing Title VII and First Amendment issues, plus internships advancing endangered species protections and judicial externship drafting civil orders. At Esri she co-founded a sustainability-focused employee group and has a track record of blending technical, policy, and community engagement to drive environmental outcomes. Known for meticulous research, interdisciplinary problem-solving, and an ability to communicate technical evidence to legal audiences, she brings an uncommon software-to-law perspective to environmental advocacy.
