Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolGrant Burry is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building full‑stack web apps, currently shaping vacation rental experiences at Evolve using Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Salesforce. He blends startup grit—having co‑founded two ventures and taken product ideas from patent filings to market—with enterprise chops from roles at VMware and Fireblocks. A pragmatist who deploys to the Edge and leverages LLMs to accelerate development, he’s comfortable experimenting with alternatives to Node.js and iterating quickly (and sometimes humorously learning from self‑inflicted DDoS incidents). Skilled across frontend, backend, and platform integrations, he focuses on shipping reliable, scalable systems that improve user and partner workflows. Based in Issaquah, WA, he pairs a CS degree from CU Boulder with a penchant for playful technical curiosity—“replicant whisperer” on GitHub—plus a habit of squatting domain names for future mischief.
