Top SchoolGreg Hilston is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building production ML and data systems, currently focused on LLM-driven automation and fraud decisioning at Found. He combines deep ML expertise (modeling, inference optimization, CV) with hands-on cloud engineering across GCP and AWS, having led large migrations, observability efforts, and production outage resolutions. Greg has repeatedly turned research-grade models into cost-effective, real-time services—once improving inference latency 43x and trimming thousands monthly in infrastructure spend. He mentors engineers, runs hiring interviews, and has taught university CS, reflecting a commitment to technical leadership and knowledge transfer. Based in rural Vermont, he brings both startup agility and enterprise-grade rigor, often using unconventional toolchains (e.g., Chalk for fraud scoring) to solve practical risk and data problems.
