Summary
👤
SeniorGreg Mckelvey is a Staff Engineer based in Eugene, Oregon with a decade of experience building front-end systems using React and TypeScript. He has progressed from teaching math and computer applications in high school to shipping production web applications for startups and mission-driven companies, most recently at PHC Global where advanced AI meets biodefense. Greg excels at crafting clean, practical UIs—hence his playful “I make rectangles and count things” mantra—and brings a teacher’s clarity to complex product problems and team collaboration. His background in education and theology gives him a unique perspective on communication and ethics in software design. Continually sharpening his craft through hands-on web development training and full-stack work, he balances pragmatic engineering with an eye for dependable, instrumentable interfaces.
