Top SchoolGreg Stoll is a Senior Staff Software Engineer in Austin with 20 years building high-performance systems in C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript, and hands-on experience with Rust and TypeScript. He has driven significant optimizations—turning a C++ data engine into a 50x faster system through parallelization, allocation reduction, and finer-grained locking—and led cross-team transitions to new C# codebases. At Mozilla he contributed to Firefox’s content analysis and clipboard handling, integrating DLP agents and fixing subtle thread-safety and iframe URL issues in a widely used open-source project. Greg combines deep systems and backend expertise with practical product instincts, having worked across compilers, device control via gRPC, and large .NET interfaces. He publishes personal projects at gregstoll.com and has a proven track record of accelerating legacy systems while mentoring teams to adopt safer, more concurrent designs.
