Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolGregory Bers is a seasoned security and network engineer with eight years of professional experience, currently focused on security engineering at Arvesta while also training future professionals as a Cisco instructor at SYNTRA Limburg. He combines hands-on network and infrastructure work—from Check Point firewalls and Juniper/Cisco switches to Aruba wireless controllers—with full-stack web development and server management gained across freelance and in-house roles. Gregory has led projects that span production IT in manufacturing, e-commerce platform development, and technical documentation and compliance for mergers and plant expansions, consistently reducing technical debt and improving operational procedures. A practiced educator and board member, he translates complex technical topics into practical training and policies, making him an effective bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders. Based in Borgloon, Belgium, he brings an unusual mix of interaction-design research background and-maker mentality ("blinkenlights") that fuels creative problem solving across security, networks, and web systems.
