Top SchoolGregory Diamond is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years building reliable, high-scale backend systems across payments, delivery logistics, and social media. Comfortable as an individual contributor or stepping into technical lead and hiring roles, he’s designed and migrated mission-critical payment systems using Go, Postgres, Snowflake, Stripe, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). His work spans languages and frameworks—Go, Java, Python, Ruby, Spring, Django, React—yet he intentionally favors lightweight Go architectures when appropriate. At companies like Gopuff, Grubhub, Nextdoor and now HubSpot he’s improved accuracy, observability, and experimentation pipelines for revenue-critical flows. He pairs strong technical chops with stakeholder communication and enjoys connecting engineering work to broader business problems and emerging interests like environmentalism and healthcare. Based in Philadelphia, he balances production-focused engineering with curiosity-driven adoption of new technologies.
