Top SchoolGregory Skiano is a creative technologist and product-focused engineer with 12 years of experience building full-stack web products, games, and editorial tooling for organizations from startups to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Trained as a fine artist in graphic design and printmaking, he blends strong visual sensibilities with practical engineering skills to prototype and ship polished user experiences and B2B software. He’s comfortable in early-stage teams and large newsrooms alike, contributing to production games like The Crossword and Spelling Bee, CI/CD and testing pipelines, and design-driven product ideation. As an independent consultant he has delivered everything from interactive quilting prototypes to inventory systems for specialty architecture firms, and he teaches workshops on type and design. Based in San Diego, he pairs philosophical curiosity with pragmatic development—an approach reflected by a background that includes theology and philosophy study alongside engineering leadership training.
