Senior🎓
Top SchoolGuido Scicolone is a Senior Software Engineer and DevOps researcher with 12+ years building resilient web and back-end systems across healthcare, finance, and telecom. He combines hands-on development in Ruby, Java, Python and JavaScript with practical DevOps expertise—Docker, AWS, CI/CD and disaster recovery—to keep critical services running and deployable. At IRCCS San Raffaele he bridges research and engineering, designing ETL pipelines to map patient data to the OMOP CDM and integrating hospital systems like eCRFs and lab platforms. Previously a CTO at a digital agency, he has led hiring, training and product delivery while retaining a deep coder’s mindset rooted in consulting work for large enterprises. He’s known for pragmatic automation and mentoring new engineers, and for an old-fashioned love of Ruby that still informs his approach to clean, maintainable systems. Based in Milan, he brings both institutional systems experience and grassroots engineering curiosity to complex data and clinical workflows.
