Top SchoolGuilherme Avelino is a Senior Software Engineer based in São Paulo with 6+ years building cloud-native, high-scale platforms for regulated and high-traffic environments. He combines hands-on full‑stack development (React, Next.js, NestJS, Node.js, PHP) with architecture and cloud strategy on AWS and GCP, having led vendor exit migrations and multi-tenant platform redesigns governed by ANVISA. Guilherme has a track record of cutting costs and risk—driving a migration that eliminated vendor lock-in and reduced licensing spend by over 70%—while improving performance, resilience, and operational automation through asynchronous workflows and chatbot integrations. He’s comfortable splitting time between coding and team leadership, having mentored engineers, created development plans, and owned delivery for integrations with major clients. A practical problem-solver, he notably rebuilt user-facing experiences and backend APIs to unify web and mobile platforms for high-concurrency sites (~10M monthly visits).
