Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolGuilherme Barroso is a Fullstack Engineer with nearly a decade of experience building scalable, high-performance web platforms across frontend (React, Next.js), backend (Node.js, NestJS, Django) and AWS-based cloud architectures. He has driven measurable impact—most notably cutting API response times from ~2 minutes to ~2 seconds by redesigning synchronous flows into Kafka-backed asynchronous pipelines—and has led teams of up to 14 engineers through major product and platform transitions. Comfortable across the stack, he combines practical system design (microservices, BFFs, serverless) with product-minded frontend work and data pipelines linking DynamoDB/S3 to Redshift. He favors Spec-Driven Development and an RPI workflow to keep complex integrations predictable and maintainable. Based in Rio de Janeiro with a master’s in Geographic Information Technology, he brings uncommon domain breadth from geospatial web apps to fintech and healthtech, plus hands-on migration experience moving 20+ services across clouds without performance loss.
