Summary
👤
SeniorGuilherme Cesar is a senior data engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable, governed data platforms across cloud environments (GCP, Azure) and modern tooling like Airflow, DBT, Databricks and Delta Lake. He specializes in end-to-end platform engineering—CDC with Kafka/Debezium, multi-region BigQuery/BigLake deployments, Terraform infra, and observability for SLI/SLO-driven operations—while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and GDPR. Comfortable in both hands-on pipeline development (PySpark, Python, SQL) and platform design, he has driven DBT CI/CD, data quality frameworks and Unity Catalog governance for enterprise use. Based in São Paulo, he pairs strong DevOps sensibilities (Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitFlow) with product-minded thinking from consulting and recruiting roles, helping teams ship reliable data products worldwide. An obsessive problem-solver, he blends practical ETL craftsmanship with automated testing and auditability to reduce operational toil and surface real-world insights.
