Top SchoolGuilherme Diego is an Engineering Manager and former Principal Full Stack Engineer with 11 years of experience building high-performance web products and leading cross-functional teams from Berlin. He specializes in performance optimization, UX-focused front-end work, and pragmatic AI integration using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Go and Python, with hands-on impact ranging from lambda size reductions to 5x response-time improvements. Known for rapid incident resolution and on-call refactors that slashed alert noise, he pairs product sensibility with pragmatic architecture—splitting monoliths into microservices and applying DDD/hexagonal patterns for portability. A mentor who consistently levels up mid and junior engineers, he also brings uncommon creativity outside code: multi-instrument musician, amateur chef who loves making pizza, and an active open-source and community contributor.
