Top SchoolGuillaume Cavana is a Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer based in Montreal with 14 years of experience building resilient, secure cloud platforms across AWS and GCP. He has a strong track record as a hands-on engineering leader and former CTO/VP who scaled teams, led HR and hiring, and introduced SRE and compliance practices at companies like OuiCar, LaFourchette, and Convelio. Guillaume specializes in IaC (Terraform), monitoring and incident response, deployment automation, and developer enablement to help teams ship quickly and safely. He combines software experience (Node.js, Symfony) with operational rigor—implementing centralized logging, on-call tooling, and CI/CD across multiple organizations. Notably, he pairs strategic product/technical decisions with day-to-day incident management, ensuring platforms remain compliant and resilient while supporting rapid growth. His background founding a SaaS and managing offshore teams gives him a pragmatic view of outsourcing, vendor management, and cross-functional delivery.
