Top SchoolGuillermo Orellana Ruiz is a seasoned software engineer with 16 years of experience specializing in mobile engineering, particularly Android, and a track record of improving performance, reliability and developer workflows at scale. He has driven major technical initiatives at companies like Skyscanner, Monzo, Qonto and Morse—reducing app startup times, migrating critical security APIs, and stabilizing CI and UI testing infrastructures. Comfortable both as an individual contributor and a technical leader, he has led cross-team coordination for regulatory and security deliveries and introduced Kotlin and architectural improvements that sped builds and reduced churn. Based in Marbella, he blends hands-on coding with practical product thinking—having built MVPs, proof-of-concepts for fundraising, and features that meaningfully boosted user engagement and reduced support load.
