Top SchoolGuy Bar-nahum is an experienced engineering and product leader turned investor who has repeatedly shaped consumer and deep-tech products from ideation to market. He helped found the iPod and iPhone software organizations at Apple, built high-quality agile engineering practices, and later led Samsung’s Silicon Valley UX lab to explore novel sensors, wearables, and dataset-driven mobile experiences. As CTO and VP of Engineering at startups and scale-ups, he has shipped embedded, computer-vision and SLAM-enabled robotics and drone platforms, and retooled distributed engineering organizations for reliability and speed. Today he evaluates and backs deep-tech opportunities through h-bar, focusing on robotics, SLAM, and NLP powered by deep learning. Known for blending product design sensibility with rigorous engineering roadmaps, he also brings talent development and cross-cultural leadership across global teams. His background in elite Israeli Air Force Talpiyot training and decades of systems-level work give him a rare mix of scientific rigor and product intuition.
