Top SchoolGuy Godfroy is a systems and software engineer with 11 years of experience building and maintaining high-scale Linux platforms, currently evolving OVHcloud’s internal observability platform and designing customer-facing observability offerings. Trained in distributed systems architecture at Télécom SudParis, he combines hands-on Linux system administration with software development, contributing upstream to Alpine Linux and enhancing tooling like the py3status i3status wrapper (notably improving IMAP, RSS and integration robustness). Experienced across consultancy and cloud provider environments, he is skilled at turning operational complexity into reliable, testable services. Based in the Greater Nancy area, he pairs pragmatic engineering with a developer’s curiosity—aptly summarized on GitHub as a fondness for “eating some apples.”
