Top SchoolHank Shen is a solutions engineer and backend-focused software professional with 10 years of experience building data-driven systems and developer-facing tooling across startups and enterprise teams. He has moved from hands-on roles at Capital One and Chartbeat to data engineering at Komodo Health and now works at Integral Privacy Technologies, demonstrating a strong grounding in backend services, databases, and cloud platforms. Beyond product work, Hank has a long track record organizing hackathon communities, mentoring students, and automating operational workflows—efforts that cut reporting time in half and supported 75+ local organizers. He combines practical engineering (Java/Spring, microservices, PostgreSQL, GCP) with community-first product thinking, making him adept at translating technical solutions into scalable developer and user experiences.
