Top SchoolHannes Eilers is a pragmatic digitalization consultant and robotics development engineer with 13 years of hands-on experience building embedded systems, lab infrastructure and practical IT solutions for SMEs and research projects. He combines an M.Sc. in Informatics and a B.Eng. (1.0) in Electrical Engineering with a track record of shipping everything from real-time video streaming on embedded PCs and robot designs to warehouse logistics software for refugee aid. As leader of a robotics development team at Fachhochschule Kiel and founder of Digital Bastel Bude, he bridges research, productization and on-site implementation—designing tablet workshops for care homes, network/IT infrastructure and smart ordering workflows for construction sites. Known for turning ad-hoc problems into sustainable tooling, he’s equally comfortable coding embedded C/C++ as he is running ideation workshops and giving talks on care robotics across Germany. Based in Schleswig-Holstein, he brings a multidisciplinary, hands-on approach that favors fast prototyping and measurable operational impact.
