Senior🎓
Top SchoolHans Smit is a Senior Developer with eight years of professional experience modernizing business-critical platforms and pragmatic modernization of legacy, regulated systems. He blends hands-on C#/.NET expertise and cloud migration experience with architecture-level thinking—designing event-driven, multi-tenant systems and CI/CD pipelines while working within real-world constraints. As an agentic platform and AI governance architect on GitHub, he authors projects around LLM orchestration, PR automation and policy-as-code (Cognitive Mesh, autopr-engine, vv-iac), showing a strong bent for productionizing AI tooling. Comfortable leading teams and consulting across the SDLC, he repeatedly translates complex domain needs into maintainable, auditable solutions for enterprise clients. Based in Limpopo, South Africa, Hans pairs an engineering foundation from Stellenbosch with a quantitative management background, giving him a rare mix of systems thinking and business-minded implementation.
