Senior🎓
Top SchoolHao Huang is a software engineer with eight years of experience building production systems across infrastructure, distributed systems, and consumer products, currently on Meta’s engineering team in New York. A University of Waterloo CS alum with minors in Business and Combinatorics & Optimization, he has moved between SRE and product engineering roles—helping launch Facebook Calling in Europe and scaling NVIDIA’s Canvas into the Omniverse launcher. He’s shipped reliability and observability work at Illumio, implemented priority features and telemetry at NVIDIA, and built full-stack systems for startups and finance teams earlier in his career. Hao combines hands-on backend expertise (C#, Java, Spring, SQL) with modern web stacks and cloud ops, and has a track record of turning compliance and telemetry requirements into measurable user growth. Notably, he co-founded a university-backed nonprofit and repeatedly bridges product impact with low-level systems work, making him equally comfortable debugging production pipelines or prototyping user-facing features.
