Top SchoolHaozhou Wang is a plant science researcher and software-oriented phenomics engineer with nine years of cross-disciplinary experience spanning computer science, ecology, forestry, and agriculture. Based at the Laboratory of Field Phenomics, University of Tokyo, he develops crop 3D reconstruction, 3D data processing pipelines, and digital-twin crop models that bridge field measurements and computational simulation. His work blends hands-on image analysis and plant phenotyping with advanced modeling from his PhD in Plant Science, enabling scalable, data-driven insights for crop research. Having trained in forestry and ecology in China and Canada, he brings a systems-level perspective to sensor-driven phenotyping and practical field deployment.
