Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolHarald Gliebe is a Principal Software Engineer based in Oslo with a nine-year recent focus on functional programming, types and math-driven solutions. He has advanced from hands-on development and architecture roles to leadership positions at Kahoot! and FINN.no, and now shapes engineering direction at Cognite. His background blends long-term commercial experience (from SAP and CREALOGIX to Basefarm) with deep academic training in mathematics from universities in Saarbrücken, Paris and Würzburg. Harald prefers solving hard problems with Haskell and Scala sensibilities, bringing mathematical rigor to system design and type-safe implementations. Colleagues know him for turning abstract models into pragmatic, maintainable systems and for thriving at the intersection of theory and production engineering. Fluent in both technical depth and cross-team collaboration, he quietly elevates platform reliability and developer ergonomics.
