Top SchoolHåvard Kindem is a Staff Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable, high-performance systems across startups and large tech companies. He blends deep expertise in Android and mobile SDKs with strong data engineering chops—designing streaming and batch pipelines, personalization features, and large-scale services for millions of users. As a founding engineer at Kitemaker he owned infra, CI/CD and real-time collaborative editing, while at Spotify and Schibsted he focused on localization, recommendation, and real-time targeting. A generalist by background (originating in indie game development), he’s comfortable from low-latency systems and sync engines to cloud platforms like GCP and AWS. Colleagues know him as a practical optimizer and mentor who values team well-being and continuous learning. Beyond code, his early modding and game work shaped a lasting curiosity for AI, distributed systems and performance engineering.
