Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolHayden Barnes is a Software Development Engineer based in Lenexa, Kansas with three years of experience blending technical writing and full-stack engineering. He transitioned from crafting clear API documentation and internal processes at Trimble—leveraging Asciidoc, Markdown, Python, and Atlassian APIs—to hands-on development work, now enhancing user-facing extensions like Raycast’s Pomodoro and Jira time-tracking (adding restart, server support, user filters, and custom JQL). Hayden pairs strong communication skills from a B.S. in Strategic Communications with operational leadership experience at Amazon and student-led program management, enabling him to translate complex technical requirements into practical, user-focused solutions. He publishes technical essays on Medium and brings a rare mix of documentation rigor, UI sensibility, and backend integration experience to product development.
